Help Our Community! Apply for a Grant Today! 2019 Competitive Grant Applications due March 15, 2019

We are super excited to announce that we’ve revised our Competitive Grant Application, and it’s ready to be downloaded from our website. Applications are due by March 15th, 2019.

Prior to beginning an application, please be sure to carefully review the grant guidelines. To help navigate the process, BCF has scheduled two identical Grant Application Workshops, both to take place at the Branford Fire Department Headquarters at 45 N. Main Street at 10am on Wednesday, February 6th and Tuesday, February 26th. Be sure to RSVP to Jennifer Mullett and let her know which session you plan to attend.

If your organization received a grant in 2018, the Final Report is due February 2, 2019. Remember that new requests cannot be reviewed until the Final Report is received.

In 2018, BCF received 24 applications requesting 3 times the amount of money we had available for funding. After careful consideration of Branford’s needs, BCF provided 10 grants ranging from basic needs (such as meals for kids) to arts and culture (free presentations of Shakespeare’s Hamlet). Grant amounts ranged from $1,000 to $10,000.

BCF is proud to be able to address emerging needs that impact our community.
