Got a Cause that Needs Funding? Apply for a BCF Grant!

Guess what? It’s time to apply for a competitive grant from the Branford Community Foundation (BCF)!

What’s that? You’re not familiar with BCF’s competitive grant process? Here’s what you need to know to get started:

• BCF loves to help our community!
Whether it’s in the form of a grant, scholarship or leadership initiative, BCF committed $122,000 last year to help fund a wide range of causes relating to basic needs, health and human services, youth and education, arts and culture, the environment, affordable housing, arts and culture and animal care. Last year, BCF received 30 applications for funding through our competitive grant process, reflecting a 20% increase from 2018, and were able to support 17 of those requests.

Grant application materials are now available on our website.

• Your grant application is due March 12, 2020.

• Boost your chances for success! Attend our workshop!
BCF is holding a Grant Application Workshop on Wednesday, Feb. 5, at 10 a.m. at the Joseph Trapasso Community House (46 Church Street, Branford — Activity Room, 1st Floor). RSVP to Jennifer Mullett at jmullett@branfordcommunityfoundation.org.

• If your organization received a grant in 2019, the Final Report is due Feb. 3, 2020. Remember that new requests cannot be reviewed until the Final Report is received.

• You make all the difference!

Our ability to provide grants is only possible thanks to those who generously support BCF’s mission to “connect people who care with the causes that matter to them.” Thanks to your generosity, our investments into the community continue to grow and we are able to respond to needs as they arise. You can continue to make a difference! Give back by donating today!
