Millie’s Wish Scholarship Fund
The family of Carmelina “Millie” Caruso established this fund in 2025 to provide a scholarship award for a graduating Branford High School student who has demonstrated hard work and perseverance at school and intends to pursue a degree or career in early childhood education.
Millie Caurso was a devoted second grade teacher at Mary R. Tisko School in Branford, Connecticut for 30 years. Her unwavering devotion to all children, especially those struggling and in need of support, inspired her family to initiate Millie’s Wish following her passing in March, 2021.
