Logan Reed Elected to Branford Community Foundation Board of Directors

LR-headshotThe Branford Community Foundation, the leader in supporting a variety of local philanthropic needs, programs and services for 35 years, has elected Logan Reed to its Board of Directors.

Branford resident and native Logan Reed has longstanding ties and commitments to his hometown. He currently serves as Treasurer of Branford Cares, a vital organization dedicated to strengthening community awareness and compassion for those who struggle to afford basic needs, is an active parishioner of St. Therese Church and a member of the Branford Rotary Club. Logan holds Certified Financial Planner, Certified Investment Management Analyst and Chartered Life Underwriter designations and works as a wealth advisor at Janney Montgomery Scott, a leading full-service wealth management, financial services and investment banking firm in New Haven. Along with his wife Elise, a registered nurse at Yale-New Haven Hospital, Logan enjoys boating, golfing and creating ways to make life in Branford more wonderful.

The Branford Community Foundation benefits all residents by pooling contributions from like-minded citizens, managing these funds with professional guidance, and then carefully granting a portion of the income generated to local, nonprofit organizations. As a multipurpose permanent local charitable endowment, the Branford Community Foundation helps to build a healthy and successful community by supporting everything from basic needs and health services, to local environmental issues and education, to the arts and other programs.
