Hometown Harmonies is July 19th at the Owenego!

Hometown Harmonies is July 19th!You’re Invited to Branford Community Foundation’s (BCF’s) 2nd annual Hometown Harmonies! It’s a night of fun and community to celebrate Branford’s 375th birthday on Friday, July 19 at the Owenego Beach and Tennis Club, at 40 Linden Point in Branford. Everyone is invited, with a “pay-what-you-can” entree fee. So far, 750 people have RSVP’d, so don’t wait to reserve your spot! www.eventbrite.com/e/hometown-harmonies-celebrating-branfords-375th-birthday-tickets-55218234225.

In addition to treating our wonderful town to a delightful evening filled with food, entertainment, and merriment, Hometown Harmonies also raises money to support BCF’s mission of connecting people who care with the causes that matter, for the purpose of preserving and promoting the quality of life in Branford, Connecticut, now and for generations to come.

Fun for the whole family, this spectacular evening offers something for everyone. We encourage families to partake in the festivities by bringing a blanket and relaxing with the kids on the waterfront grounds of the Owenego. Starting at 6 p.m., attendees will enjoy food trucks from Consiglio’s on Wooster Street, Lobster Hut, Shoreline Prime, Holy Guacamole, Ben & Jerry’s ice cream, and Sugar Bakery. Yum!

The show will begin at 7 p.m. — a roundup of amazing shoreline talent lined up by BCF board member and event coordinator Colin Sheehan, who produced last year’s spectacular show.

Due to the high number of folks we anticipate attending, parking will be tight. We’ll have vans to help with overflow parking, but we encourage you to carpool! Be sure to RSVP at www.eventbrite.com/e/hometown-harmonies-celebrating-branfords-375th-birthday-tickets-55218234225.
