Kathleen Radziunas Scholarship Fund

The Kathleen Radziunas Scholarship Fund was established in 2025 by her friends and family—Jason, Jack, Michael and Jessica—to award a female senior at Branford High School who will be studying law-enforcement or related criminal justice disciplines.

Sergeant Kathleen Radziunas was a dedicated State of New York MTA Police Officer with over 20 years of dedicated service from 1998-2018.  On April 30th, 2025, Sgt Kathleen Radziunas passed away from an illness resulting from her assignment in and around the World Trade Center site following the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. Her death is a solemn reminder of the lasting toll borne by those who responded selflessly in the aftermath of that tragic day.
