The Branford
Community Foundation, established more than 25 years
ago, benefits our town, our citizens, our organizations
and agencies. With your help, we have funded dozens
of worthy innovative projects and programs in the areas
of health, education, arts and the environment.
The Foundation's continuing commitment to our community was reflected by the number and size of our grants in 2008 which supported:
• Branford High School Performing Arts
• Branford Counseling Center
• Branford Food Council
• Camp Hazen YMCA
• Community Dining Room, Inc.
• Connecticut Radio Information Systems, Inc.
• Orchard House Medical Adult Center
• Shoreline Arts Alliance, Inc.
• Short Beach Union Church
• VNA Community Healthcare
• Walsh Intermediate School Performing Arts
In addition, 14 Branford High School seniors received scholarships for their education from memorial funds we hold and manage, totaling $15,565.
