A Branford Community Foundation fund may be started by you with a gift made during your lifetime, or with a bequest in your estate. Established in your name or in memory of or in honor of a friend, relative or cause, your fund may be unrestricted or restricted. Because the Foundation is a public charity, you will receive maximum tax benefits of charitable giving and can be assured that every dollar will be used for the benefit of the community. Please contact us for more information on how to start a fund, (203) 488-6063.

BRANFORD COMMUNITY YOUTH MENTORING
This program matches community volunteers with Branford students, proving a positive role model. As a result, students become better students, have greater self-confidence and a better attitude toward school. The Branford Community Foundation supported this effort with a $1,000.00 grant. ORCHARD HOUSE
The Branford Community Foundation recognizes that Branford is very fortunate to have a facility such as the Orchard House Medical Adult Center in its environs and is happy to support it. The Foundation gave a grant of $1,000.00 to Orchard House to help offset the cost of a chair-lift van, a vehicle essential for the transportation of its clients.
